People Who Live to Dive
Every person on the IDC team is PADI certified, most are Instructors, all are passionate about the Florida Keys and the people they take underwater.
From owners Ryan and Ella to our captains and instructors, the whole crew shares the same goal: make your time on and under the water exceptional. The Florida Keys is our backyard, the Aquatic Liberty is our home, and the reef is where we belong.

Ryan Kroonenburg
Owner
Ryan is from Australia originally and was the founder of one of the largest IT training platforms on the planet, A Cloud Guru. Ryan sold the company a few years ago and decided to get out of tech and instead focus on the waves beneath by purchasing IDC.

Kiera comes from way across the pond, from the green hills of Ireland. But she grew up in the Philly area as you will hear from listening to her. She runs the show and has earned the nickname “Sarge”.

Jason is a pure southern charmer from North Carolina. He heads up our vessel the “Aquatic Liberty”. He’s the chillest, most laid back Marine you’ll ever encounter.

Nate comes from Massachusetts and is an excellent instructor who also helps lead IDC's conservation programs. He's IDC's resident ocean garbage picker — and proud of it.

Jessi moved to the Keys from Missouri and is one of IDC's top instructors. Keep an eye out for her furry co-pilot Fin — he accompanies her in the shop and occasionally on the boat. Say hi to Jessi first.
