Fill the Cooler.
Islamorada sits in the heart of the Florida Keys, one of the most productive fishing and diving environments in North America. The reefs are home to hogfish, grouper, snapper, and invasive lionfish year-round. Lobster season runs August through March.
Our guides know these waters intimately. Every spearfishing charter is accompanied by a PADI Instructor who doubles as your spearfishing guide: safety, local knowledge, and an eye for where the fish are hiding.

Seasons & Regulations
Florida spearfishing and lobster seasons are managed by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Our guides stay current on all regulations and will brief you fully before every trip.
Florida Fishing License Required
All divers must hold a valid Florida saltwater fishing license to take fish or lobster. Available online at myfwc.com before your trip. Non-resident licenses available. IDC guides can help with questions but cannot provide licenses on-site.
Size & Bag Limits Apply
Florida spiny lobster minimum carapace length is 3 inches. Daily bag limit is 6 per person during regular season. Spearfishing regulations vary by species and zone. Our guides follow all FWC rules and practice selective harvesting.
Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary
Spearfishing is prohibited in certain sanctuary protection zones. IDC guides are fully versed in sanctuary boundaries and will never take you into a no-take zone. We operate as a NOAA Blue Star Operator — reef protection is non-negotiable.
