A shallow patch reef that lives up to its name. Nurse Sharks rest under the coral ledges and cruise the sandy bottom in numbers you don't see at most sites. They're calm, unhurried, and completely comfortable with divers.
The name isn't subtle, and it doesn't need to be. Nurse Shark City is a shallow patch reef where Nurse Sharks show up in numbers — resting under ledges, lined up along the coral base, and moving across the sandy bottom with the kind of ease that comes from years of living alongside curious divers.
Nurse Sharks are docile, bottom-feeding animals. They're not aggressive and they're not difficult to observe — in fact, the challenge at this site is usually picking which shark to watch, because there are typically several in view at once. For guests who've never been close to a shark underwater, this is one of the best possible introductions. For experienced divers, it's just a consistently excellent dive.
